Shipping policy

  • DDU / DAP → The buyer (your customer) is responsible for paying any import duties, VAT, taxes, and customs clearance fees once the shipment arrives in their country.

  • The seller (you) pays only for shipping costs to the destination country, not the local taxes.

✨ The Alternative

  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) → The seller covers all shipping costs and pre-pays import duties/taxes, so the customer sees no extra charges on delivery.

Ex Works (EXW) is one of the Incoterms® (International Commercial Terms) published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). It defines the responsibilities of buyers and sellers in international trade.

📦 Ex Works

  • Seller’s responsibility: The seller makes the goods available at their premises (factory, warehouse, etc.). That’s it.

  • Buyer’s responsibility: The buyer takes care of everything else — loading the goods onto a vehicle, arranging transport, export customs clearance, insurance, shipping, import clearance, duties, and final delivery.

So under EXW, the seller’s minimum obligation is just to package the goods and make them available for pickup.
